SB 217                                                                                            
SENATE BILL NO. 217 "An Act relating to genetic privacy; and                                        
amending Rule 82, Alaska Rules of Civil Procedure, and Rule 508,                                    
Alaska Rules of Appellate Procedure" was read the second time.                                      
                                                                                                    
Senator Seekins, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the                                   
adoption of the Judiciary Committee Substitute offered on page 2404.                                
Senator Green objected, then withdrew her objection. There being no                                 
further objection, CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 217(JUD) "An Act                                          
relating to genetic privacy" was adopted.                                                           
                                                                                                    
Senator Ben Stevens moved and asked unanimous consent that the bill                                 
be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final                              
passage. Without objection, it was so ordered.

Senator Guess called the Senate. The call was satisfied.

Stedman, Lincoln, Wagoner moved and asked unanimous consent to                                      
be shown as cosponsors on the bill. Without objection, it was so

The question being: "Shall CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 217(JUD)                                          
"An Act relating to genetic privacy" pass the Senate?" The roll was
